So what I have been doing all these month, you wonder? I'm so glad you asked.
1. Graduated
2. Looked relentlessly for a job
3. Failed to get a job
4. Enrolled in classes to keep myself busy
All this could not have been possible without our wonderful economy! (Yes, that is sarcasm.)
Why is this at all relevant? Because: [a] I'll admit, that not being able to find employment has got me feeling a little blue and has taken my motivation to write away; and [b] I haven't got very much $$$ and sadly, can't front the bill to be traveling around (gas costs money!) or paying for admission to events (it begins adds up!).
BUT...I'm beginning to get out of my slump: I want to write more and find inexpensive things to due around Lake and Cook County.
So in the coming days and weeks look for: [a] suggestions based on my experience in Morocco and [b] a little something on Chicago's Christkindlmarket.
I'm excited to begin writing again. Okay, that's all! I'm getting off my soapbox.
